Reality Defender Secures $15 Million in Series A Funding Led by DCVC

Reality Defender, the deepfake and AI-generated media detection platform, has secured $15 million in Series A funding led by DCVC, with participation from Comcast, ex/ante, the Partnership Fund for New York City, Rackhouse Venture Capital and Nat Friedman’s AI Grant.
Alongside the raise, the company launched Explainable AI features and real-time voice deepfake detection. Co-founder and CEO Ben Colman said the platform is “capable of stopping the most advanced threats of our time.”
