Accenture has invested in Reality Defender through Accenture Ventures, with plans to integrate the company’s detection capabilities into Accenture’s existing deepfake protection offerings.
Accenture’s Cyber Intelligence researchers found that trading in deepfake-related tools on dark web forums spiked 223% in the first quarter of 2024 compared with the same period in 2023.
