Fast Company surveyed 34 chief executives on the promise and risk of agentic AI, with Reality Defender’s Ben Colman among those describing the emerging attack surface.
“Bad actors are using AI voice agents at scale to make calls, start social engineering campaigns, and generally wreak havoc: think 10,000 calls being made to a call center to waste their resources or seek the PII of a person who has an account with a specific company,” Colman says. “As the least secure person is a company’s greatest security vulnerability, it just takes one of those calls to part with information it should not have.”
